The building known as the Zagreb tavern was owned by Mor Halbror.
Initially, hotel Nacional was designed by Kocka Géza in 1897, but architect Ferenc Raichle rearranged the existing renaissance facade in 1905 and covered it with a vegetable ornamentation of secession character.
