Under the slogan “One Journey, A Thousand Stories,” Belgrade is hosting the 47th International Tourism Fair, one of the most significant tourism events in the region.
At this prestigious event, the cross-border IPA cooperation project between Subotica and Osijek was presented. The project aims to strengthen the tourism offer and connect destinations through joint activities and promotion.
The project involves four partners:
- Palić Zoo
- Tourism Organization of the City of Subotica
- Osijek Tourist Board
- Osijek Zoo
The objective of the project is to improve tourism infrastructure, exchange experiences, and create new content that will further enrich the offerings of both cities. Through their joint appearance at the fair, the partners presented the region’s potential and highlighted the importance of cross-border cooperation in the development of sustainable tourism.
Participation in the Tourism Fair represents an important step toward further positioning Subotica and Osijek as attractive destinations that offer a unique blend of nature, culture, and authentic experiences.
Because every journey truly carries a thousand stories—and some of them begin right at the zoo.
