From July 1, 1884 to October 31, 1890, Titus Mačković was the chief city engineer for the second time.
During this period, one of his most important projects was the project for the tenement palace owned by, at that time, Mayor of Subotica Lazar Mamužić. The mayor’s house occupied an angular plot between today’s streets of Đure Đakovića and the park of Ferenc Raichle.
This palace took into account the functional differentiation and connection of rooms, and the comfort of apartments and their functionality were far greater than apartments in other palaces.
