The SDK building in Subotica was renovated and raised by one more floor for the needs of the bank in 1912, and has the status as a cultural monument.
The building, as a typical example of a business building, has been adapted and upgraded by the idea of Art Nouveau architects Marcell Comor and Dezső Jakab. The facade was made in a neo-renaissance style with elements of classicism.
The building has decorative elements of secession – vegetable ornamentation and surface facade design. The SDK building on Korzo is especially interesting because the whole interior of the ground floor is preserved.
The building was reconstructed in 2009.
