Monument to fallen soldiers and victims of fascism, work of the sculptor Toma Rosandić, was ceremoniously opened on October 30, 1952.
The most magnificent monument of Subotica, in which are laid remainings of heroes of labor movement and fighters for the liberation of the city, harmoniously blended with its surroundings represents unique memorial of lasting values.
From the war until recently it was the third biggest monument in Vojvodina.
