In a series of palaces that will be built in the last decade of the 19th century, at the main street of the city, today’s Korzo, Titus Mačković designed tenement building for Samko Manojlović in 1881.
Samko was a descendant of a large and famous family that had representatives in the Parliament and the City Senate, was very rich and active in the political and cultural life of the city.
It is one floor, corner shaped, object in the form of rectangles, built in an eclectic style with dominant elements of neo-renaissance.
Few years ago, a complete reconstruction of the building, both external and internal was done. Today this object is protected as a cultural monument of importance.
