As part of the cross-border project “Majestic ZOO’s,” a series of educational “Family Welcome” workshops were successfully held to enhance the quality of family tourism offerings in Subotica and Osijek. Following the training, 20 selected events, accommodation providers, and hospitality venues—along with the tourism destinations of Subotica and Osijek themselves—were officially awarded the Family Welcome Certificate (FWC) for meeting high family-friendly standards. This milestone marks a crucial step toward elevating service quality over the long term and building lasting trust with our visitors.

Subotica has officially become the very first destination in Serbia to receive the prestigious “Family Welcome” certification, confirming our shared commitment with the local tourism industry to create tailored experiences and services for families with children. Today, Subotica and Palić are stronger than ever in positioning themselves as top-tier destinations offering safe, high-quality, and unforgettable holidays for every generation.
