Nestled in the heart of the Great Park, surrounded by century-old pines and lush greenery, the Summer Stage is one of the most enchanting venues in Palić. Built in 1950 based on the design of engineer Baltazar Dulić, this unique open-air amphitheater was crafted on a spot known for its exceptional acoustics, seamlessly integrated into the park’s natural surroundings.

Constructed from natural stone sourced from Rakovac on Mount Fruška Gora, featuring iconic stone towers and a theatrical backdrop, the Summer Stage continues to captivate visitors with an atmosphere reminiscent of a fairytale stage from times gone by. At the main entrance, guests are greeted by the sculpture of Thalia, the Muse of theater, who has symbolically guarded this cultural haven for decades.

Throughout its rich history, the venue has hosted numerous opera and theater performances, concerts, and artistic events. Today, it is best known as the central venue for the Palić European Film Festival. With a seating capacity of over one thousand and an unforgettable open-air ambiance, the Summer Stage remains one of the most prominent symbols of Palić’s cultural life—a place where nature and art meet in the most beautiful way.
