Located in front of the hotel in Palić’s Grand Park stand two monumental blue vases made of world-renowned Zsolnay ceramics—one of the resort’s most iconic decorative landmarks.
Arriving in 1910 as a gift to Palić and Subotica from the owner of the Zsolnay factory in Pécs, the vases are adorned with the motif of the Water God. They represent an exceptional masterpiece of artistic ceramics that defined the European Art Nouveau landscape at the turn of the 20th century.
Today, these striking vases are among the most photographed details in the Grand Park and serve as an enduring symbol of Palić’s charm as an elegant lakeside resort.
