Originally constructed in the late 19th century, the building received its signature look in 1907 thanks to architect Géza Kocka. Though primarily known as a representative of Neorenaissance in Subotica, Kocka masterfully reshaped the facade in the spirit of Vienna Secession.

The standout feature of the palace is its corner oriel window, topped by a striking decorative scallop shell motif that lends the building its unique character and visual dynamism. Today, beautifully restored and adapted, the palace lives a new life as a vibrant hospitality venue, perfectly preserving the timeless charm and spirit of Subotica’s historic center.
