The most prestigious award in the field of tourism in Serbia – “Tourist Flower” – was awarded this year to the Tourist Organization of the City of Subotica.
After an online public vote, competing with the tourist organizations of Pirot and Boljevac, the Tourist Organization of the City of Subotica won the award for outstanding results, quality of promotion, innovation in its tourist offer, and contribution to local tourism development.
The “Tourist Flower” award was received by Božidarka Golubović, director of the Tourist Organization of the City of Subotica, at a ceremony in Belgrade in the “EXPO playground” exhibition space.
-We perceive the “Tourist Flower” award as recognition for continuous, team-oriented, and responsible work – not only in 2025, but over a longer period in which we have clearly defined the direction of development for our destination.

Subotica and Palić are destinations with a strong identity, rich cultural heritage, and natural potential, but what we particularly insisted on was the content, quality of the offer, and an authentic experience for the guest.

We focused on event tourism, cultural and active holidays, improving tourist infrastructure, as well as stronger cooperation with local businesses, caterers, and accommodation providers.

This award belongs to all of them – our team, partners, institutions, but also to all the people who live and breathe tourism in Subotica and Palić every day and give it a human face.

For us, the “Tourist Flower” is not an end, but a confirmation that we are on the right path and an additional obligation to continue developing our destination even more strongly, bravely, and responsibly.
