For more than two decades, the theatre has established itself as Subotica’s artistic and experimental powerhouse, renowned for its distinctive approach and contemporary stage aesthetics.

Performances are staged in Hungarian, with Serbian subtitles introduced in 2007 to welcome a broader audience. Over the years, its productions have toured extensively across national, regional, and European stages, earning critical acclaim at prominent festivals in Serbia, Hungary, and beyond for their bold, innovative vision.

Since 2009, the theatre has also hosted its acclaimed international festival, Desire Central Station, a staple of the regional cultural landscape and a premier gathering space for contemporary theatrical arts.
