According to the latest data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, in the period from January to July 2026, Subotica recorded 82,997 tourist arrivals, which is 8.6% more than in the same period last year, while an impressive 185,190 overnight stays were achieved – an increase of 9.9%.

Above all, there is an exceptional growth in visits by foreign tourists, confirming that Subotica and Palić are firmly establishing their place on the map of must-visit European destinations:

• Subotica: 102,039 overnight stays by foreign guests were recorded, representing a 14.2% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

• Palić: A total of 43,098 overnight stays were recorded at our lake (a growth of 7.9%), while the number of overnight stays by foreign visitors surged by as much as 18%!

During the month of July alone, Subotica welcomed 17,841 visitors who generated 37,400 overnight stays, marking a double-digit growth of 13.5% in arrivals and 13.7% in overnight stays compared to July last year.
