The idea of the Pali\u0107 Olympics was born in 1876.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everything that Verme\u0161 owned he started investing in his dream of Pali\u0107 Olympics, which eventually took place on August 26, 1880. The King was so enthusiastic about Verme\u0161&#8217;s intention to popularize the sport in Serbia, that he had appointed him as a court master and a fencing teacher.
